This is the oil thrower spacer that fits between the rear main bearing and first gear on Ford Cortina 2000E 4 speed gearboxes

New original Ford part

Some spacers have multiple splines, this is the later type with just a few.

Look closely at your spacer as they wear a lot and cause the 1st gear to float on the mainshaft.
